Outreach ministry

It is the responsibility of Christians and the local church to go out to where people are and bring them to His house that they may enjoy all He has to offer them.  Every week a great group of people go out into our communities to invite and bring people to church.  If you are interested in coming to church through our Outreach Ministry contact our Outreach Director, Jon Stratton.

Music & The Sanctuary Choir

Psalm 147:1 says, "Praise the Lord! For it is good to sing praises to our God; for it is pleasant, and a song of praise is fitting."  Our services are filled with music of worship and praise to God, our Creator.  Whether it is through our orchestra, special singing, congregational singing,  instrumental arrangements, or our Sanctuary Choir, there are many ways to be part of our music ministry that lifts up the name of Jesus.

Youth Ministry

Our young people are special. They are leaving their childhood and beginning to embrace adulthood. They are faced with so many decisions. Decisions about careers, marriage, and following Christ. It is our passion to create an atmosphere that makes it easy for them to hear the voice of God and even easier to follow it.  Our youth have monthly activities, weekly worship services, and take short-term missions trips around the world helping to spread the love of Christ to others. For more information, email Pastor Joel Veyon.

Men's Ministry

The Bible tells us that pure religion involves caring for the widows and those who are in positions where they can't help themselves. Whether it's fixing a plumbing problem or doing a number of other jobs that are needed, getting involved in the men's ministry is a great way to show the love of Christ to those in need. For more information, contact the church office at officestaff@hobesoundbiblechurch.com or 772-546-5696.

Prayer Ministry

There is not a more powerful tool at our disposal than prayer! When things are tough, prayer helps bring peace. When we are weak, we find strength through prayer.  When we are confused, we find clarity through prayer. When we are lost, we find forgiveness through prayer. If you have a prayer request or need, contact the church office at officestaff@hobesoundbiblechurch.com or 772-546-5696.

Children's Ministry

Jesus said, "“Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them..." There is no greater joy than to watch children give their lives to Christ and avoid the pitfalls of sin and regret. We have weekly programs for children on Sunday mornings and Children's Classes every Wednesday evening as well.  You can get more information by contacting Pastor Stratton.

Grief Share

Many, if not all, walk through the valley of grief at some point in our lives. How do we handle the overwhelming pressures of loss, hurt, and despair? Thankfully with God and His people, we do not have to face these times alone. If you are walking through a valley of grief, GRIEF SHARE might be for you! For more information either contact the church office or go to HTTPS://WWW.GRIEFSHARE.ORG

Mid-Week Bible Study

As Christians, we should continually become more like Christ.  Whether it is in our actions, conversations, or interactions, people should clearly see the difference Christ has made in our lives.  One way to help us become more like Christ is to learn more about Him.  That is our goal for Mid-Week Bible Study.  During these times we learn what the "church" is, what the Gospel looks like in everyday life, and how we can stay true to Christ in fallen world.  Pastor McElwain shares in these Bible Studies every Wednesday evening from 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
